Dear friend,

As you gather around your loved ones this season and remember the wonderful
experiences you’ve had this year, we hope you will take a moment to reflect
on the profound work of The Vegetarian Resource Group. In 2014, The VRG
celebrates
33 years of vegetarian-based education and advocacy, made possible only by
funding from generous supporters like you.

Year round, The VRG provides the public and professionals with the most
credible
information related to vegetarianism and veganism possible. This year alone,
we participated in diverse outreach events from small health fairs, to
events
like Natural Products Expo East, in Baltimore, MD, with over 20,000
attendees.
We also shipped thousands of pounds of complimentary literature to
individuals
and groups from all over the USA, interested in informing people in their
communities about the numerous benefits of the vegan lifestyle.

Furthermore, thanks to a generous donor, this year, we were able to award
two $5,000 college scholarships to outstanding young vegetarian activists.
We also offered several internships; two of which included need-based
stipends
for those who couldn’t afford to intern with us otherwise. We are certain
that these individuals will continue to amaze us with their commitment to
creating a veggie world.

The survival of vegetarian advocacy programs like these depends greatly on
funding from generous donors like you. Please consider making a donation to
The Vegetarian Resource Group today. We appreciate your support and would
like to wish you a merry holiday and a happy New Year!
